4K worked in teams this week to create a Class Contract for the 2008-2009 school year. When everyone follows the class contract, everyone is able to work in a comfortable, respectful, safe, and motivating learning environment.
All students and the teacher signed the Class Contract as a promise to do their best to follow the statements in the Class Contract this year.
Here are the agreed upon statements for 4K’s Class Contract:
- Treat everyone with respect
- Take turns, be fair, and include everyone
- Focus and stay on task
- Listen to and follow directions
- Be responsible for yourself
- Give “put-ups” and “warm fuzzies”
- Put everything back where it belongs
- Play by the rules
- Treat people the way you want to be treated
- Always have a smile!
