If you are looking for an action packed and full of excitement book, then try Run Away Home by Patricia C Mckissack. The cover is designed by Elizabeth B. Parisi.

The plot for Run Away Home is an Indian boy escapes a war train and is hiding in a barn.  But after a few days a girl named Sarah Jane finds him in there and he is sick. Oh no.  She tells her mom and then tries to heal him but he is still really sick.  But good news, Sky is feeling better!  (But) bad news, The train Sky jumped out of was a prisoner train.  Now he is being hunted down.  Will he get to stay with Sarah Jane or will he have to go?

You’ll have to read this amazing book to find out.  The main characters are Sky and Sarah Jane.  Sky is an Indian boy that is independent and has earned the privileges of an adult even though he is 15.  Sarah Jane is a farm girl that is very happy but is sometimes very mean.  Sarah Jane is also a very hard worker.  The reason she is a good worker is because she is loyal and gets the job done.

Run Away Home is hard to stop reading, because it’s so much fun to read. Do you want a book like that? Well this marvelous book has it all! So many things happen, you can’t get bored, you can trust me!

If you want to read an action packed and full of excitement book, you should read Run Away Home! We recommend this book to children in 4-7 grade and adults who are interested in segregation. So, go get Run Away Home at your local library or bookstore.
