Lewis and Clark
By Evangeline

Would you like to read a fantastic book? Try the excellent book Lewis and Clark. It was written by Gorge Sullivan. This book is filled with facts about President Jefferson’s idea for Lewis and Clark.

The core of this book is truly all about what difficulties they had and what good times the group had. Like the difficulties with the forked path of the Mississippi river. There are only two really important characters who are Lewis and Clark.

I really think that this is a book you should read, because it’s important American history. That is very hard to know all about, like how they had to use elk skin rope to get over a waterfall! You also get to learn about Native American culture for example, how they were shocked to see an African American, and finally you can understand how far America has come, like how it takes us a few hours to get across the U.S. now but it took a year for Lewis and Clark to get that far.

I recommend this book to fourth to seventh graders. You should really read Lewis and Clark, so you can compare modern life to there life. I hope you enjoy the thrilling voyage of Lewis and Clark!
