Book Review – Junie B. Jones and the Mushy, Gushy Valentine

Written by Matthew, Pascal, Khushdil, and Jack

Have you ever had a secret admirer? We read a hilarious story called Junie B. Jones and the Mushy, Gushy Valentine. The author and illustrator are Barbra Park and Denise Brunkus.

We used valentime because Junie B. says valentine with a m instead of a n. Junie B. does not have correct grammar. Junie B. calls her teacher Mrs. Instead of her full name. Mrs. is mildly strict. In the middle of the book they have a huge argument. It was an argument about who would get more valentines.

You should read this book because then you can find out who is the secret admirer. If you like funny characters Junie B. is the one for you. If you are an adult you might want to read it for a reference to your kindergartner.

This book is recommended for ages 6 and beyond. It is for fiction readers. If you like a good laugh this is the book for you!
