Spring leaves a scent in the air
Playing in the very hot sun
Rain falls a lot in April

Sports are starting up

Purple plums growing in the trees
Rain falling on the yellow rain coats
Inch worms digging into a fresh red apple
Nights that are getting dark and black to short and light
Getting ready for red, yellow, purple, blue, brown, and green spring

Peanuts growing in the brown dirt
Inch worms inching along the black driveway
Never wearing heavy jackets again
Green grass swaying in the wind

Playing, walking, running
Blizzards, snowstorms, sweating, melting

Sunny and bright sunlight,
Purple petunias growing strong,
Rain coming and going, making plants grow,
Indoors doing chores for spring – cleaning, that is,
Now there’s candy, isn’t that dandy,
There goes the Easter Bunny
Not to mention,
Getting ready to shout,
School’s out!

Spring is here, woo hoo!

Spring has sprung and warm temperatures are here
Pretty flowers of all colors are blooming everywhere
Red, beautiful blossoms are all over town
In the village, winter is fading away and being replaced
By warm spring colors, like yellow, orange, and red
Nearly everyone is celebrating spring
Green plants are growing everywhere
Hurray for spring!

Lemonade yellow as the sun
Orange shirts blowing in the wind
White apple blossoms, so pretty
Eggs hatching with little brown birds inside
Raccoons with small black eyes
Skies as blue as a swimming pool
