Story Starters
Here’s a quick writing activity to try every day. First, generate a creative story starter. Pick a format: notebook, letter, newspaper, or postcard. Print your story for a surprise.
This looks like lots of fun, fourth graders. If you try this writing activity, write your review and post as a comment.

They will also be able to post articles at home, so after I teach students how to accomplish this task, I will send home an identical copy of the directions to keep at home.

4K students – remember when I tell you that lots of people read your entries on our blogs? Well…

I got an exciting email today from Sarah Kramer who interviewed me in May for an article for Scholastic. She said the article is now online at Scholastic.com – click on Generation IM to read about 4K’s blogs. The article will also be published in the Scholastic’s Instructor print magazine’s August issue.

There will be a lot more people visiting 4K @ Richards School and Ms. Kreul’s Class Blog and reading your book reviews, listening to your podcasts, learning about 4K’s curriculum, viewing your art work, and more!

Amazing!
