How to be an expert at…Having a clean desk

Not dirty, not messy. not squishy, but CLEAN!!! Do you ever get yelled at for such a messy desk? Well if you follow these tips you wont be getting yelled at!

  • Hard books on one side
  • Notebooks and folders on other side
  • Pens and pencils on side or in pencil cases
  • Make sure your desk is able to shut
  • Don’t leave papers out
  • Don’t shove stuff in your desk
  • Keep bigger stuff on the bottom
  • Make sure you can find everything
  • Put smaller stuff on the bottom
  • Make sure you don’t have too much stuff in your desk!

Have you ever had a really dirty desk that you wanted to keep clean?
If so, this is how we clean our desks, so it might just work for you too.
Don’t leave loose papers around your desk
Put pens and pencils in a pencil case
Keep bigger items on the bottom
Have a plan where to keep everything
Make sure your desk can close
Only have up to two books in your desk
Don’t bring too many extra things
Keep papers in folder pockets
Clean your desk at least once a week
Put things in the correct place

  • Make sure your topic is fun and entertaining!
  • Make sure you’re rehearsed and focused on the topic!
  • Have an introduction and conclusion that will catch your reader’s attention!
  • Always have a backup plan in case something goes wrong!
  • Use good word choice to make your report/presentation interesting.
  • Make sure your voice is loud enough so your whole audience can hear you.
  • Have materials ready on time.
  • Talk slowly so people can understand you!

  • Put things back were they go.
  • Keep related objects near each other.
  • Put things in sensible places..
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for tips.
  • Label things but make it look attractive.
  • Rearrange every once and a while.
  • Organize your things in different places but in similar ways.
  • Make sure everything has a place.
  • Don’t just shove things in random places.
